1 new Percy the train engine purchased to fulfill promise to squabbling children
3 extra train pieces purchased in place of the out-of-stock James, the one engine everyone wants
6 complaints about slow grants database
0 plausible theories as to why
1 pair of lost eyeglasses
1 pair of different eyeglasses found, not as comfortable as lost pair
5 attempts to connect via IM and webcam so children can say hi
5 IM and webcam-related crashes
1 minute spent begging them to use the phone instead
