OK. Have the coffee and ant-killing out of the way and am ready to start The Plan.

As I was clearing a space in the clutter to sit at the table and have breakfast, I decided I needed to clear the kids’ schoolwork away. And then I decided I should sort it in to piles of art, schoolwork, great art to be scanned to go in the Refrigerator album, and notices and letters that probably could have benefitted from a parent’s attention. For example, the one that asked that we dress the children in weird and wacky clothes. On Feb. 25. *crumple, toss*

And then there is the horror that is my closet. With Gil all moved out I can start rebalancing the contents of the closets, and maybe weed through stuff. Right about then I got all discouraged and thought I’d be better off hiring someone to do a deep clean and purge and organize a new home office because there is no way I will be able to stay on task. Oh, and a sprained wrist and shoulder is a bit of an impediment.

And THEN, an idle chitchat with my buddy revealed that his assistant does this on the side!! We start Saturday! *does Snoopy dance* I cannot wait. My buddy will be the first to admit that he is a hopelessly messy person and she whipped him into shape. Let the whipping begin!

Also? It makes me feel a teeny bit better about going into work at noon today to send a few wires. I promised not to even think about work, but if I know I will be productive over the weekend, I can handle it. Like I handled being there at 8:30 last night doing more of the same. *whistles*

So, my lovelies, thank you very much for your kind comments and encouragement to take it easy. Am hopping in the shower, going to see the doc, going to do a little work and fawn over my administrator’s new baby, and then it’s off shopping!! New desk and file cabinets, here I come.

I am woman, hear me clean

I have a dilemma that maybe you can help me with now you have all that organisation. I have a “friend” (no names, no packdrill) who came to visit Amber and I last summer, prior to the visit I had a very specific item sent to her so that she could bring it over when she came. Unfortunately the “friend” (no names, no pack drill) forgot the specific item and then lost it in all her unorganised clutter so she couldn’t find it to send it. Now if the “friend” suddenly became organised, do you think that “friend” would be able to find said item and send it?

I’m just askin’.

That’s fantastic! I’m pretty good at organization plus, for me anyway, it’s more fun to organize someone else’s stuff than my own.

Would you believe I found it on my nightstand?? How could anything get lost there?? And for six months??

Now if I can just find a mailer for it, I’ll send it on. And I will be sure to enclose a note saying that I am returning your book so that you won’t have to pay twice what it’s worth to reveive it from the Belgians. (They open everything apparently)
