Me, Me, Me
Me, Me, Me
It all began with coffee and smiles, and ended with Jenny spilling her wine down my back. God, I love her.
More later—off to take the kids to see Thomas the Train! Dylan is five tomorrow! Woot!

Sounds like you had fun! Those of us who had to miss it will need lots of details, tho!
Say hi to Thomas and Percy from my boys!

Yay, I made your blog! I wasn’t smiling ‘cause I was so nervous, but hey! :) Glad to have met you and hope to meet up at BlogHer II, whenever that may be.

Ok, first of all? Please quit trying to make me jealous.
Second? Your ass. I am in love with it.

Joy!... :coolsmirk:

Did you meet Heather B. from Dooce? Cause she said she was going. She’s cool—but you’re my favorite. (And my secret word is ever—as in you’re my favorite mommy blogger ever).

I too was noticing what a nice ass you have.

I was smiling like the cat who ate the canary because HELLO! I’m sitting with MINDY! And Mr. X!
and then…
Oh, the mortification. Hi, I’m Jenny, and I sloshed wine down the back of Mindy’s lovely shirt. Notice I did NOT besmirch The Ass.
I am still flying from the all the happiness.
Mr. X? He is totally worthy of The Ass.

NOW guess who’s grinning like the cat who ate the <strike>ass</strike> canary? Heeee. Mr. X’s head won’t get out the door. Maybe sideways.
And you will NOT believe how Thomas went. Am still gathering strength to post that one.

Hee! Looks like you had fun! I completely forgot that you would be at blogher this weekend.
The cake from Icing on the Cake was **soooo** good and was a big hit (chocolate fudge cake with chocolate fudge filling and chocolate buttercream icing—yum!). Thanks for the info!
And can you believe that *I* spilled wine down my OWN pants today (hey, at least it was white :-)? And it was only glass #2—I swear!
BTW, I just saw a picture that my hubby took of me from behind and was pretty much horrified. What a flattering picture that was of your rear view—your outfit looks really cute and your hair looks short and sassy (did you get it cut???)—you go girl!

Hey, what are friends for if not to slop wine down your back? You can always get a new blouse.

Mindy—
Just read the other comments and, well, what I REALLY had WANTED to say but was too embarrassed to post is that…you do indeed have a very nice ass!
My husband always tells me that I could easily go “that way” (i.e. gay or bi. Maybe because I took lots of women’s studies courses in college, have a huge collection of books by women writers, have really short hair, and didn’t change my name when we got married. Give me a break! Oh, and I’m always pointing out good looking women to him or a particularly nice set of boobs—but doesn’t EVERYONE do that?!?).
Not that there’s anything wrong with that (!), but I really don’t go “that way.” I do, however, think that you have a very nice ass—so there!
(And you’ve had THREE kids?!? No way! I’m jealous. At least tell me that you work out???) :-)

SO. LUCKY!

You went. I’m jealous.
My weekend cleaning and cooking for the in-laws was almost as fun.

All talk is now about your ass! The internet is abuzz! Lucky you!
I enjoyed meeting you, and the mysterious Mr. X. Have linked to your blog, fellow mommyblogger. We should create some kind of secret handshake for playgrounds. Ah, you blog too? Ahh!

Your ass aside, Mindy, I wanted to let you all know that CNN did a piece on Blogher today! I was trying to improve my own ass on the treadmill and there it was… basically just an overview and what it was, but I was really thrilled to see it. Also, my hubby who is heavy into educational technology and that blogosphere said that it made major news among all the blogs that he reads as well. Sounds like the first of many!
