Off to a roaring start—the kids are still asleep at dad’s having stayed up late watching Napoleon Dynamite, which they didn’t get. I’d say they’re 5-10 years from being able to appreciate the genius of fricking wolverines.

Dylan is starting four weeks of tutoring, five days a week, four hours a day. It’s a stellar program but I still hope he won’t hate me by week two and run away by week three. It’s really a life intervention. He’s off the charts in mathematical and phonemic reasoning, but will hand in blank sheets of paper for writing assessments. MY SON. WON’T WRITE. It’s time to get him on track so he won’t end up the guy running the odds and taking everyone’s canteen money off them at cards in some federal penitentiary.

Aaaannd I’ve just missed the garbage and recycling guys. That will be fun by next week, for all of us. Go me.

Time for coffee and looking for freelance. Anyone need a web site? Had to give up my corner so I’ll be trying to earn from home now. : )

Wow! Hey we’re here to listen to whatever you’ve got to say, whether it’s good news on your end or dismal. Thanks for your posts Mindy- I hope you can continue to ‘bring the funny’ to the rest of us, even if times are tough. Take care.
