HHhhmmm, you ask the tough questions.  I guess I’d have to say you should go with what ever you want to do.  If you want something new and different a retro mommy thing would be good.  I do love the martini and santa skins.  They are very retro but not too mommy even though I am a martini sipping mommy who plays Santa once a year myself. 

When I first started reading you were using the blue skin so I like that one too.  I think it sounds like you’d like to try something new so go for it.

It’s 4:00 pm.  Is that too early for a martini?  No, I don’t think so.  Off I go.

I love Blue Mommy—it screams MommyBlog! It’s been my default from the beginning.

I think you could add a menu bar right under the Mommy graphic (and title) this is where you could expand your writing/reviewing/shilling empire expands.

I would just like the side bars (links on either side) to either be drop downs or open in small new windows—it will add a sharp organized structure with a clean finish that is easier on the senses.

I kind of like the fingers in the ears but it’ll be your new place so you’ll have to be comfortable with that.

I’ve been reading your forever too, so I guess I’ve seen your designs right from the beginning. I thought all of them were great. How’s that for being wishy washy?

I haven’t been around for too long, but I really love blue mommy.  Once I discovered it, I defaulted to it and never looked back!

I do think you should do whatever makes you happiest.

It’s really amazing that picture looks like the graphic.

The skin is very exciting!  I had to double check to make sure where I was :)

And guess who is pulling rank here? I get about a zillion extra points, because I’ve known Mindy longer than any of you, even longer than Mindy has known Mindy, and I have had to navigate Mindy’s world longer than anyone, including Mindy, so I say Blue Mommy all the way, because that graphic is sooooooo Mindy. And my word? industry, as in this is becoming an entire industry! Where do these words come from, anyway?

I always set the screen for the lottle boy and the martini, but I love when it defaults to the blue mommy.  She makes me laugh!!

I like new, funky, and different so I say go with a new look. What you described sounds perfect and seems to go with your life right now. What mommy life doesn’t come with a side of mayhem? That or it’s the main dish.

I like the Blue Mommy—so does my 3 yr old son.  When I was clicking thru my favorites, he was standing here.  I read your blog, then moved to the next, and he said “No no!!! Go back to the mommy!” and when I did, he laughed and said “I like her” That’s high praise ;)

Wow… I’ve been around long enough to recognize it as an old skin….

I think, now, as I think about it, I do indeed like this one. I say you stick with it, though I think I mainly prefer the colors, and softness over the others, though I love the Retro feel of the others.

(Also, a new retro store for mom’s called Mommilicious just opened in town, every.single.time. I drive past I think of you. You will HAVE to stop there when you and Mr.X are in for the wedding.)

My all-time favourite skin is Martini Time—I love the big image. It’s actually what drew me back to the site until I got hooked on you and your writing—so different, so fun. I also really like the martini glass (it is half-full, yes?) for your mood stamp and your olive next to your category titles.

However, I like the info layout in the Blue Mommy skin.

Speaking of skins, have you considered creating one with Mommy wearing the PJ boxers and a tank top?

Oooh, can’t decide.  If your mum and Mr X like the blue one then it must be that one, but I did see the same photo used on Marks & Spencers snacks here in the UK last year.  Haven’t seen them again so it is possible that I dreamed that…

OMG… Im devestated to learn that is not a picture of you!!!!  I love that picture and thought it was…. 

I love that picture but I think you should have a picture of YOU on the site and YOU should be what builds your brand.  It’s your life you are marketing…  realism is better then fantasy right?  Oh. Well. Ok.  It’s not really, but it’s important to have truth in marketing ;)

Blue Mommy is my default as well.  The martini boy was ok, but I like this better.
