Ihavereportersinthelivingroomandkidsontheroofofthefort

So, pretty much a normal day.

If you don’t count the wii. This morning I put the wii away in a box, and packed away all the games. No one said a word, though I could hear the door creak open now and then for a peek. I thought they would kill me or at least run away from home when they found out, but they were strangely silent on the subject.

Later I said to my middle child, who would be like that guy who collapsed and died after fifty consecutive hours playing games at an internet cafe if I’d let him, “I put the wii away for a while, you know?”

“Yes.”

“And are you mad at me?”

“No.”

“Really?”

“I think I’ll just go camping with Daphne again in the back yard.”

Well slap my ass and call me Judy.

Later: Omg, I think one of the kids clogged the toilet and I may not have checked to be sure it was fixed before I let the reporter use the bathroom.

Won’t YOU miss the Wii??

Been following you for a while now.  Love your blog.  Totally relate to all the divorce and how it affects the kids.  Sounds like you have a better relationship with your ex than I do…. but one can hope it gets better right?
Hope you start feeling better soon.  Good luck with your Rock Band withdrawls!!

So, Judy, I don’t know if we know each other well enough for ass slapping, but I am fair game if you are!

You know, it is nearly midnight-thirty here and I HAD to get on the computer to see if you survived ABC news. I bet it is was the reporter that clogged the toilet. They always do that to me, you know. Damn John Stossel.

Also, Wii breaks are cool but just short ones. Too long and you forget how to play Heartbreaker. And really? That is just too much for one person!

Are you going to give us a link to see the interview? Cuz that would be super!

They have Heartbreaker? On RockBand2?

Jesus, Mary and Joseph.

I haven’t been playing that one as much because I gt a little tired of the repetitive sets you have to play before unlocking new stuff. And after Psycho Killer, well, I didn’t know there were more fabulous surprises!

Qu’est-ce que c’est?

I confess, I had to look that up.  I don’t speak French.

So, what was the interview and how can I see it?

So, was the bathroom decent for the reporters? :)

I have no idea - either it was, or she was very gracious.. She has kids so I’m hoping that worked out for me. However, it was the kids’ bathroom and there was stuff EVERYWHERE. Mostly my makeup though. : P

She did like that my house looked “lived-in” - said it was refreshing. I love her for saying it.

It will air on CBS morning news - local in San Jose.
