Iheartmyreaders

I’d have to say the most fun I have with this blog is the behind-the-scenes emails, IMs, and tweets from readers. I laugh every day because of you, and it keeps me focused and connected and makes me want to watch all of your kids for you so you can get a massage and some chocolates.

One wonderful woman wrote to me about Mommy Confidential, and then I begged her to put it in a review on Amazon. And she did. You have no idea how much these reviews mean, both for my heart and for sales. Remember, every book sold buys my family one Happy Meal!

My husband brought me this book - as a blogger and a mom he thought I would enjoy it and boy, was he right. Mindy Roberts tells the story most moms live - overextended, constant crisis management with a side order of chaos. And she doesn’t hold much back. She is brutally honest, not just with others, but herself. She manages to talk about her kids in a way that makes you want to keep them for yourself, even when they’re running naked down the street. Maybe especially when they’re running naked down the street.

The book is alternately laugh out loud funny, and heartbreaking. Definitely worth reading.

would I be a total loser if I bought your book and read it? I have ZERO children and read a good 5-6 mommy blogs, watch the Momversation panels, etc. I guess when my time comes I will be super prepared. Ha! Love the blog. Keep it up. You’re an inspiration.
