Here is an email I sent to Jared of Madsen Cycles to thank him for the amazing bike he sent to our family to test out. It was a great leap of faith for him to send me something like this, and I never take money to review anything, but in cases like this you really have to try it out yourself. I fully disclose that this was sent as a gift, but I would gladly pay full price if that’s what it took to keep it.

I would buy you a plane ticket and fly you out to see this if I could. WE LOVE IT!!!! We strapped my flip cam to the handlebars and rode to a friend’s house, and got them to come out, and then came home. I think think my rib cage is going to explode. I can’t wait to edit the video - I’ll include the text of the Rosetta Stone - um - note you penned on the box! You guessed perfectly, it’s exactly what I would have chosen. I think I’m going to have trouble getting the kids back inside for dinner, though. They’ve already moved into the box with pillows and blankets and snacks.

Oh - and about the news clip, they made it sound like I get bikes every day (and cash?? Who sent me cash??) but usually, it’s more like, say, a book. I told them about the bike because I was so excited about it - and hopefully we’ll get some of that media frenzy long tail for you. I have deleted more than a few requests for Mother’s Day features, because I can’t do it all, but I will be featuring this!!
