I had a funny, sunny post all lined up for today, and then I found out that I will not be collecting any back pay once my org receives more funding. So that means I’ve missed out on collecting three months of unemployment. Excuse me while I crawl back into bed.
Oh, I remember: Dylan got a Shuffle for his birthday, and asked this morning if I would download “Highway to Hell” for him. I said, “WHAT?” He replied, “I already have “Stairway to Heaven” so why shouldn’t I have “Highway to Hell?”
I write. A lot.
I also design stuff and collect funny things kids say. Oh, and please buy my book. It's very funny.

That’s pretty miserable. My husband and I are just finishing up him being on unemployment, and we couldn’t have coped without it. He has a job starting Monday, and I can’t imagine how it would feel to miss out on that money.

My 3-year-old has played a little too much Guitar Hero and will tell you his favorite song is “Raining Blood.” You haven’t lived until you’ve heard a tiny voice squeak, “Waining Bwood!”
