Do I really talk about them ALL that much? Is seven years too long? Three thousand posts a bit much? Tough. Suck it up.

I’m a not-a-mom but the Very Cool Auntie™ and I adore talking about my nephew to everyone who will listen so I can only imagine that I am going to be worse if/when I have kiddies. I actually really like it when parents talk to me about their kids because for me, it’s all about the learning. Education. I hate doing anything blind - raising babies (mine or others’) included and store away as much advise from those parents who I think are doing a really good job with their kids for later, when it might come in useful for me… Is that scary weird?

Before I had a child I got annoyed with people who talked about their kids too much. Now it’s all I want to talk about! I guess you have to be a mom!

I guess as mums we do love to talk about our kids although I find there is a time and place and being a stay at home mum it is so nice to get out now and then and not talk about kids for a change. its a nice break.
