Did I actually offer to hand out pitchforks?

I happened to catch a part of one of their earlier episodes yesterday and found myself feeling very sad for them. I think if they would have stopped the show back then they may have survived. I feel sorry for the kids especially because their family is being torn up. Not only will they have the normal “my parents divored when I was x” but all they scrutiny on their lives as well.

Hand me a pitchfork. Please. Now.

1) I have never watched the show, but it’s impossible not to know about these people—that says quite a lot.
2) The parents are lucky as all get out that they have help with the children—one or eight, we could ALL use a break to run to the bathroom by ourselves for once.
3) Continuing to do this show after all this hoopla is criminal.

I love Jon and Kate and am very sad to hear that it has come to this. I always worried that something like this would happen to them. That’s the risk you take by doing a show like that. I always hoped for the best that they could do it and hold it together, but it’s sad to see that they couldn’t. Hopefully they work something out. I think the show needed to come to an end sometime and i think now is a good time. Lol “disaster waiting to happen” I know some outrageous married couples that you wouldn’t think would still be together and 40 years later they still are and happy and all i think is ‘huh?’ somethings work some how for some people I hoped the same would be true for them.

With photographers hiding around every corner hoping to capture cellulite as it jiggles in just the right Carribean sunlight, I’d submit to the Hollywood standard myself. Fortunately, I don’t have to regret that I spent some of the most precious bonding time with my baby, pacifying my agent and wondering how an innocent crush on my high school drama teacher could have ever led me here..

When I was watching this video, the second mom, the one who said Jon & Kate+8 is crazy, she said, “I don’t know how their kids can be OK with their divorce being all over television.”
Just think about it, they’ve been filmed their whole life, since they were born, so they really don’t know anything different. When they get older and they start learning how a normal life would be without cameras being around all the time then they might look back and not be OK with it, but by then it’ll be over.
