How’s your hoo-hah? Your twinkie? Your flower? How’s your… vagina? Yep, doesn’t quite have the same “cutesy” ring to it. And that’s just fine with Daphne Brogdon of Cool Mom who is not a fan for precious nicknames for private parts (is private part a cutesy nickname?), especially when used by moms. Do these nicknames annoy you, and do you think kids should be taught them? Sound off!

We use the German names, which sound cutesy AND funny. We also use the regular names, and my kids think those are funny, too. So funny, in fact, that my poor husband had to endure his 3 little girls chanting ‘pe-NIS, pe-NIS’ to him at the mall food court. He would normally have scolded them, but all he could do was shrink into his chair.

No cutesy names. We called them what they are. But I never talked baby talk to them either.
