FamilyI was going to wait and do a dazzling debut post, but it’s nearly noon on a Friday and the day ain’t gettin’ any younger! (I’ve always sort of jumped into things; why should this be any different? I mean, honestly? I’m a busy girl with places to go and people to see!)

When I woke up one morning with a sore throat, raspy voice, and fever, my three-year-old, Emilie, asked me what was wrong. I said, “Mama has a cold…” and she felt my cheek for a minute before saying, “No. You has a hot!”
