QOTD-a-trois

DYING today with the quotes of the day. It’s not even seven-thirty yet and I’m hurrying to get them all down, and they just keep coming as I’m working. (These are not my kids, which is why I get to sip my coffee and keep on typing.)

“What do you want for breakfast?”
(Playing Wii) “I want something that takes a really long time.”

Serving breakfast:

“I’m not eating that.”
“Yes, you are, you said you would.”
“You don’t have a signed contract.’”
“Oh, yes I do, it’s a verbal contract, legally binding, and will hold up in a court of law.”
“Then somebody get me some virtual scissors!”

And, finally:

“SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING!”

I love that for me this is "working."

My QOTD comes from my two year old while on our walk.

Me: Emmie, look at the bird! He’s flying!”
Emmie: “Good job flying bird!”
Me and her dad: *giggles*

Yesterday’s quote of the day from our 7-year-old boy, as we tried out our lego boats in a culvert full of rain water:

“I’m getting a little uncomfortable with my Legos just floating away like that.”

Doesn’t he mean verbal scissors? lol.
I love these quotes and their meanings. Kudos.
The Wii can be fun and healthy sometimes, particularly when a game requires you to lay off the coach and get yourself some physical movement.
