I think it actually was! Just yesterday I picked up three copies of Life Magazine from the fifties and nearly fell over laughing at some of the ads.
I think I’ll do a series, beginning with the cover story of July 27, 1959: BABY SITTING: THE NEWEST PROFESSION.
Also, A SMUGGLED BOOK THAT WILL ROCK MARXISM.
