Yes, sweetie, I'm sorry. We're going to be doing some construction here, so why don't you see if you can have a play date at a friend's? Yes, you can stay for dinner, and no rush coming home. Here, bring this bottle of Scotch to give to the host. No, I don't know when we'll be down or for how long, but it will be nice and pretty when we're back up. Toodles.
