Well,here’salittlereadingIneedtocatchupon!

I was in Wine Country with friends this weekend, so I missed about seventeen calls and 676368741523 emails while I was gone. Jiminy. So I did my usual browse through alerts to see if I missed anything much and found this fabulous comic on Velveteen Mind.

Harkens back to the day when I used to sell “Mommy Blogged Me” onsies and “Please Don’t Blog This” thongs (on the back, it read, “I’m begging you.").

Anyway, I see links there to a lot of folks I know, so I’ll have to check them out when I have time tomorrow. And I guess, um, you should too, otherwise I’m kinda posting to the void, y’know?

*yawn*

As it happens, I found you through an alert.  Glad you stumbled onto my Mommybloggers: The Resource page, but even happier that I’ve now found you!  So much to explore on your site… perfect for my early morning procrastination streak.

BTW, that comic is by Natalie Dee.  A goldmine, I tell you.

Thanks so much for the links. Very imformative! I saw the clip with Heather Armstrong on it and yeah, Kathy Lee Gifford & Hota Kotb didn’t get the whole Mommy Blogging thing at all. I think a little more research before the interview was in order and perhaps Kathy Lee surpressing her Internet superstitions wouldn’t have hurt either.

If you are serious and really want to catch up on some good reading, my book club just read the funniest new novel, “The Book of Mom” by Taylor Wilshire. I could not put the thing down. I am not into Oprah-like self-help tips, (which there are a ton of like meditation in this book) but have to say I walked away with insight on marriage, parenting and how to take better care of myself. Have you read it? Would you offer your insight?
