FamilyJust now, I was talking with my daughter about how fun it was to have Grandma and Grandpa here this weekend, and now that they’re gone, we miss them.
She said, “I wish they could stay here forever.”
“I know, baby, but at least they live close by.”
“I wish all of our family lived close by.”
“Yes, that would be nice. That’s why we have pictures of all your other grandparents and uncles and aunts and cousins all over the house.”
“Oh well. You can’t lose what you never had.”
I froze. “Where did you get that, Daphne?”
“From iCarly."
Whoa.
