After OpenRoad.tv posted my second interview for their Outside the Box series, I emailed M'Gee to thank them for the fabulous video, and said that if we ever do that again I will WEAR A HAIR CLIP. Her response? "There are a lot of sail boats up here for a reason!" My hair was blowing all over the place and I was tucking it behind my ears every two seconds. I was ready to just pull my jacket over my head and wear it like a babushka.

Then, just now, I went to the mailbox and found a package from Jim and Tracy Wirth of Gosh Golly Goods. In it were three totally cute headbands and a note that read:

Hi Mindy!

My wife Tracy makes these headbands. M'Gee shared your note with us about needing a hair clip for the next interview with Doug, so we thought you'd enjoy these.

I love them! And am going to wear one later to wrangle down my hair on the way to getting a trim this afternoon. It's so long—how long is it?—that if I don't straighten it or wear a ponytail, I look like Alice from the Dilbert cartoons.
