Me, Me, Me
Me, Me, MeSeveral people have told me to watch Napoleon Dynamite because of the way I say “IDIOT!” Which I think is a really funny comment on the movie, or on me, or, maybe it’s not so funny after all.
Invariably, whenever I say that, someone in the vicinity asks, “Hey, have you seen Napoleon Dynamite? Wasn’t that great?”
Um, no. I’ve always said that, in exactly that way. What’s your point, buddy?
Since Daphne gave me the DVD for Mother’s Day (don’t ask), I watched it the other night and laughed my head off, not all the whole movie, but at that line. I laughed because he sounded exactly like I do.
And just now, Logan asked if he could wear his jammie top to school. When I said no, he said “GOSH!” It must be in the genes.

Great film, but it reminded me a little too much of Forrest Gump. ND was cast from the same mould, I think. Not that pleasant, really. Certainly not someone you would want to be friends with. I hated the fact that he was totally unaware of his dancing achievement. What’s the point?

My daughter saw the movie in the theater and had to have it the day it came out on DVD. Needless to say, I’ve watched it several times.
“They kept trying to attack my cousins, what the heck would you do in a situation like that?”

I that Napoleon Dynamite was a great film and luckily watched it in the theater when a lady there insisted the whole theater sit back down at the end because there was more. I would never have figured that out!
